that offer rent help as well as other services for people in need in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, they usually
have strict guidelines and you need to call them for specific details on how to get help. Some offer help to only
seniors or certain groups. Below is a list of some organizations that help with rent payments.

The Family Services of HELP of Southern Nevada provides subsidized rent and utility coverage for
a limited amount of time for families. You need to qualify for this assistance. Client is required to pay a certain
percentage of their weekly wages and to open a savings account. If all rules and regulations are not followed,
client will be dismissed from the program. No animals are allowed. Applicants will attend a Job Readiness workship
along with case management and referrals to supportive services.

Emergency assistance program is for Jewish individuals and families who have encountered a
recent emergency that was unforeseen and beyond their control. This program will help pay for emergency rent,
utilities and some other immediate needs. Walk-in hours are Tuesday 1 - 3 PM and Friday 9 - 12 PM. Must be Jewish
to receive these services.
